I’m leaving my dark past behind me, where it belongs, and it seems like fate has finally smiled on me when she comes into my life.
Innocent, pure, and with a bright future ahead of her, she’s the girl I always wanted and never deserved.
Then, those scumbags steal her right from under of my nose.
But they don’t know who I am, or the lives I’ve taken. They’re out to make some quick cash by selling a pure bride, and there’s no way I’m going to let that happen. Not to her.
I have to risk everything to save her.
Then, I’ll try to win her heart and make her mine.
Weeks later after finally moving in with her new roommate Maggie, the girls decide to go out and enjoy their first night in the beautiful city of Paris. They meet up with Will, a man Liv met on the plane to Paris, at a local bar where they think they are in for a good night. After only a few drinks the girls begin to lose control of themselves and later wake up bound in a cellar.
Meanwhile, Maksim Pavlenko, or Max has begun the first day of training. It doesn’t take him long to realize that two of his gymnasts are missing. Normally he would assume the girls had decided this type of training wasn’t for them, but he could shake Liv from his mind. There was something about Liv, a certain connection he felt with her, he knew something wasn’t right. After searching the girls apartment Max was sure that something awfully wrong had taken place, he knew he would have to use techniques from his dark past to find these girls, to find Liv.
This outstanding, dark book kept me on the edge of my seat and left me wanting more. I loved how the details of the book allowed me to visualize the story throughout the entire book, needless to say this text was very well written and easy to follow. The characters were brilliant, and the storyline was amazing, I would highly recommend this book!
