Zeke Powers should’ve come with a warning label.
He was hot.
He was sexy.
And he was a bad boy through and through.
The things he said to me had me blushing and my toes curling.
But he was someone I totally didn’t need walking into my life, screwing up the plans I’d made and turning my world upside down.
Although I’d been living a no-frills, no-fun existence, I felt it was necessary to get where I was going. Keep your eye on the prize and all that.
But Zeke was determined to prove to me that what I desired most—him—was just what I needed.

Review
Zeke is the oldest of all the brothers in the Powers family. He is in his final year of college and is also being scouted by NFL teams.
Scarlett is hard working and organized. She is focused on finishing college and helping to raise her teenage brother. When Zeke sees Scarlett he decides he has to get to know her. At first Scarlett is hesitant because of baggage from past relationships and also because she is intimidated by his popularity on campus. Zeke is very persistent and wears her down until she agrees to give them a chance.
I really liked how Zeke is more mature than the "party animals" we typically read about in so many books about college age characters. He is ready to settle down with Scarlett, he just has to convince her of that first.
I really enjoyed the interraction between the two of them. Harper always infuses her books with lots of humor and it makes the angst a little easier to handle. Zeke and Scarlett are a funny, loving couple that I really enjoyed reading about. I'm looking forward to learning about the next Powers brother
