Anslie Davoli is the sixteen year old daughter of the President of the Wayward Saints MC, Cason Davoli. After her mom takes her away from the club at just five years old, certain circumstances bring her back into the club under her older brother's watchful eye.
Brantley Insico grew up in the club. His father is the Vice President of the Wayward Saints MC. At twenty-one, he thinks he's got it all, the club, his family, and no woman tying him down. One family barbecue and his world is turned upside down.
Brantley knows Prez's daughter is off limits, but he still craves her.
Will Anslie and Brantley be able to stay away from each other, or will they have to deal with the consequences
I've been know to author stalk a little bit. If an author writes a really good story, I like to tell them, especially if they are new authors. I think it is important for blogs and readers to show these new writers respect and a little love, they will be our future NYT best sellers one day after all. Plus it is the right thing to do and if you don't you are going to miss out on some amazing books. I'm so glad that I was scrolling through some blog pages and author pages a few days ago, what caught my eye was this author's name. K. Renee, she just published her first book, it sounds really good, she is under 30. Well, I was trying to keep my identity on the down low but I'm not real sure why to tell you the truth because every time I sign up for something I have to give my name anyway. So, my name is Renee Kennedy or Renee K. the blogger, ha see why it caught my eye! Another thing, my blogging partners and I started this blog 12/14/14 and this book was published right around the same time. So, I had to reach out to K. Renee, it was just meant for us to be friend, don't you think? Well, I guess that is enough of me rambling for now- so on to the good stuff!
The demographics and dialog is spot on with motorcycle club books that I have read in the past (which are way too many to count), I felt all the roughness and crudeness that surrounds this motorcycle family. You get they feeling of the brotherhood and how they are willing to lay down their lives for one another.
Her characters were well developed, I swooned over Brantley. K. Renee does very well with her body descriptions. I was picturing him very well but not with Anslie!!!! She wrote this tell about them falling for each other in this forbidden way, that you knew they were destine for each other but circumstances stood in their way. These guys had everything go wrong that could go wrong for them, yet they still had a passion for each other that just could not be satisfied by anyone else.
This book has kidnapping, rape, sex, drugs, abuse - you name something screwed you, it has that too, but if you really want all the juicy details, you will have to by the book.
I give Wayward Angel 5 stars
