Kylie Stafford has spent her whole life doing exactly what’s expected. The right major, the right sorority, the right guys, just like her mother and her sister before her. But when everything falls apart for her, Kylie wonders if doing everything right has been utterly wrong. There’s only one way to find out.
She decides to try making all the wrong choices for three months. Hit on a tattoo-covered rock musician? Check. Go back to his dressing room for a hot hook-up against the wall? Gulp. Drop everything to be a roadie for him to binge on more of the best sex of her life? Maybe. Start falling for him despite her better judgment? Um….yeah. Figure out why doing everything that seems wrong feels so darn right?
The heat between Kylie and Cam jumps off the page from the very first kiss. You want them to make it work even though they are forced to keep their attraction secret,
The author leaves you wanting more but at the same time satisfies with the outcome.. The characters are developed and deep. Kylie makes you realize that following the path dictated to you is not always the best way to go. Cam makes you swoon with is hotness. There is some tension with the other ban members and I can't wait for what is next.
My absolute favorite thing about the story is that Kylie takes hold of her life after it goes in the crapper. She actually takes the reigns and says the hell with what everyone else wants.
There is more books in the series and I hope to see more Riptide.
