When she took off running through the restuarant and to the street with the goons following and firing shots out of nowhere comes a truck that hits Cassie.
While recuperating in the hospital Carlo issues a hit out on her, Vince volunteers to do the hit but he also has a plan to keep her safe maybe. When Cassie wakes up from the coma she has no recollection of the accident or the past two years of her life.
When Vince finds out she doesn't remember him he starts taking care of her. Cassie is falling fast Vince and little does she know she is falling for the one guy that was sent to kill her.
I love books about the mafia. I would like to read more from the author she kept me interested in this book the entire time I was reading it.
