Powerful, ambitious, and devastatingly sexy, Jackson Steele was unlike any other man I’d ever known. He went after what he wanted with his whole mind, body, and soul—and I was the woman in his sights. One touch and I surrendered, one night together and I was undone.
Jackson and I had secrets, dark pieces of our pasts that threatened to swallow us both. We couldn’t outrun our demons, or the people trying to tear us apart. But in our passion we found salvation, and in each other’s arms we found release.
I was scared to trust Jackson fully, to finally let go. Yet no matter the dangers that lay ahead, I knew I was his—and now that we’ve laid claim, there’s no more holding back.
On My Knees is intended for mature audiences.

My Review:

I am completely enamored with Jackson Steele, The man is sex on a stick and he is tall dark and dangerous. This story answers so many questions like Sylvia's relationship with her father, Jackson's link to Megan and Ronnie and so much more. But like any great book it leaves you wanting more.
J. Kenner spins a story of secrets and demons into a story of love enduring. I love that even though Sylvia is damaged she can see the error of her ways when she is being unreasonable about something, Jackson too, can admit he is wrong when it is necessary and these two come together and act like adults and work together to figure it out. The growth as couple is amazing and I am eating it up. Then ending had me practically screaming at the author because I cannot believe the curve ball that was thrown and now has set up the mystery for the next book.
Bravo to J. Kenner for incorporating not only Jackson and Sylvia into the Stark world but keeping our favorite couple involved in a completely natural way.
