Recent kidnapping victim Charlie Merritt has always been better with computers than people, so when he’s drawn into the SF team’s investigation of his army colonel father’s corruption, he’s surprised to find acceptance and friendship—especially since his father never accepted who Charlie was. Even more surprising is the heated tension Charlie feels with sexy, tattooed Jeremy, Charlie’s opposite in almost every way.
With tragedy and chaos all around them, temptation flashes hot, and Jeremy and Charlie can’t help but wonder why they’re trying so hard to be good..
Jeremy is an outgoing tattoo artist that loves life and loves sex, with men and women alike. He decided a long time ago to live life on his own terms and have "no regrets".
Charlie is kidnapped and tortured he is rescued by Jeremy's brother (and his ex-special forces friends) and brought to the Hard Ink building to recover. That is where he meets Jeremy. They have an instant friendship and Jeremy is there the whole time while Charlie recuperates. Charlie has feelings for Jeremy, but is unsure if Jeremy is feeling the same way. He keeps his feelings to himself for fear of rejection by not only Jeremy but the group of ex-Special Forces that rescued him. They were his fathers men so they would feel the same as his father, wouldn't they?
Poor Charlie, not only is socially awkward but he feels unaccepted for who he is and Jeremy is just the guy to pull him out of his own head.
Jeremy is my favorite character. His inappropriate t-shirts and quick witted humor always bring a grin to my face.
This novella much like the Easy and Jenna's is about a deep subject matter that feels like a full book. I CANNOT WAIT FOR Hard To Let Go ( Murda and Kat's story)
