Author: Apryl Baker
Synopsis
Dan Richards is the only person in the entire world Mattie trusts, but then the boy goes and breaks her heart. Mattie does what she does best, she runs and lands herself slap in the middle of a haunted house full of ghosts turned vengeful that want Mattie to join their ranks.
Only bright spot on all this? Eli Malone – the gorgeous boy with the beautiful aqua eyes that makes her feel things she’s never even imagined before. She’s not sure what to do with him, especially when Dan shows up glowering at him.
She’ll figure Eli out if she can survive the house. The ghosts are bound and determined to kill her so she’ll be one of them. Now if she can just figure out how to survive them and the demon stalking her, she might be able to decide what to do about her feelings for Dan and Eli.
That is if she can survive the night in the house.
Review of Ghost Files Volume 2
As promised here is the review for Ghost Files Volume 2…Be ready for Ghost Files Volume 3.
Apryl Baker does it again…she just keeps me on the edge of my seat with Ghost Files Volume 2. Her writing is so suspenseful its hard to quit! The book draws you in so quickly with Mattie having to deal with another foster home, and not a very nice one! I just want Mattie to be happy and free from all the hurt she has had to deal with. Thankfully Officer Dan comes to the rescue…or does he? I loved all the new characters that are introduced in this new book, the living and the dead ones. She meets some scary characters. My favorite scene in the book is when she meets the painter. I found this scene intriguing, scary, and confusing, but thankfully Miss Baker explains all the confusion away. Mattie and Dan also get to find out a bit about their pasts. Will this new information strain their relationship or will it make it stronger? With all that happens in this book, Ghost Files has me on an emotional roller coaster with heart break, stress, loss, and physical pain. I rate this book 5 creepy stars!
