Fool's Errand was my first book by Grae Lily, I found this to be a very interesting book. Lily character development is good and I loved Emmy. I really like reading about strong, independent women. Women that even though something might have happen in their past, they can still be strong. I have always liked thrillers and suspense and the story line of Fool's Errand did not disappoint.
I really think this is a good start to what seems to be a compelling series. Emmy had a snark about her but, she had her reasons for that. Sometimes, we act a little different in order to protect ourselves. We all put up those walls and Lily played up that factor well. I'm sure if the same things happen to me, I would have been the same way. She had a extremely traumatic experience and instead of curling into a ball of depression, she became
The book seemed to drag a little in places, then the end of the book was rushed and confusing. I would have liked to see the secondary characters a little more fleshed out. It also need more of a punch opening up, to draw the readers in and hook them!
