So Ryan has been Psychiatry Hospital for 18 years. That is a long time, to heal and change your ways... learning from your mistakes. Getting ready to make amends, right? Not Ryan, of course not Ryan, he spent the time plotting, he has everything down to a science. He really is a genius, don't you think. So, he is deemed to be not threat to himself or anyone else. Boy he has everyone fooled!
Blake and Melody are still married, they have one daughter, Cereus. They have lived a normal life and have been happy. Ryan has kept tabs on them, so he know all about them and their happy little life. His first order of business when he is released is to meet his lovely niece Cereus, and get to know her as much as possible. Boy can't you just imagine that mom and dad are going to love that. Ryan of course, has this all planned out. Can Cereus be the one to change Ryan? Is Ryan even capable of Change? Will Ryan drag Cereus under with him? You have to buy the book to see what sick things Ker Dukey mind came up with. I mean really sick!
I really loved this book, I must love the minds of sick, dark, and twisted souls or at least like reading about them. I could not put this book down and I will be stalking Ker Dukey for her next release begging to be on her blog tour. I loved watching Ryan manipulate everyone around him. I can see a change coming in the next book, maybe- but not all books need a happy ending. I really don't want Ryan to change. What about you? Wouldn't this make a great discussion? I would love to hear what you think, if you have read the book.
I give this book 5 stars!
