Amy M.'s Review
Cassandra is an ex-CIA agent who is now working for a security company that belongs to her dad. She is quite the woman that you wouldn’t expect to read about but when you read how she was raised then you understand the talented woman that she has become. Cassandra is given the lead to check the security for a company that is doing clinical trials, which if the files are taken could put this company under if they are released to the public. Cassandra and her team do their best to make sure nothing happens to the clinical trial files but what they did not expect was for someone on the inside to become a trader. After coming up with nothing Cassandra gets a break when she meets Trevor, who is a NSA agent that left a very small bread crumb for her to find, and where things take a turn for the better.
Although this book was much longer than I anticipated I would not have wanted anything left out. I was swept away with the amount of attraction between Cassandra and Trevor but since they were on a case Cassandra tried to keep things as professional as she could. I had so many different emotions with this book from confused, sad, and even ecstatic at times that when I finished this book I felt like this was such an incredible book I could see this being turned into an action packed TV series!
Countermeasure is definitely a must read for the amount of suspense and action throughout. I am giving 5 stars to the romantically suspenseful Countermeasure.
