Charming and gorgeous, JP is also fiercely private, a charismatic enigma with his fair share of secrets—not to mention a string of romantic conquests a mile long. He could make Vega’s career, or destroy what credibility she has left—because JP has made it very clear that his interest in Vega is anything but professional. Vega should know better than to trust a man like him. But kiss by heated kiss, she discovers this man may be worth the risk.
Vega Zaragoza is an ex supermodel turned video journalist that has a secret that is not conducive to the life in the spotlight. She likes to stay behind the scenes.
Jackson and Vegas immediately have chemistry and agree to one night, that all it can ever be right?
This book was well written and flowed well. The story was good and I liked that Vega genuinely did care about JP and made her decisions to, as she saw it, protect his career. I liked that JP did not give up on Vega even when it would have been the easy way out.
What bothered me was the story took to long to resolve many of the issues at hand and there was the whole "no one recognizing a former supermodel" issue that I found unbelievable. The sex scenes were enjoyable and I liked that they did not overpower the story.
This is a story about overcoming your past and fighting for your future. I liked it and I can only see this series getting better with each installment.
