Edwin Allen Mercer
I want them all to read my words. And they do. Every last blood-stained sentence, they've read and praised me for. They love the gore and violence, the realness. And I get a sense of power with it all because I know a secret: the victims in my books—they’re real and have all died on my table. And maybe that’s why the last book had such awful reviews. Murder is, after all, a dirty little thing. Some can stomach it. Others can’t. My answer to those reviews: find a woman to co-author with. To be the next pathetic character in my book. Pity she’s so pretty.
Miranda Cross
All I’ve ever wanted was to be successful as a writer so when I was offered the opportunity to co-author a book with my idol, EA Mercer, I jumped at the chance. He’s beautiful and a literary genius, but something about him makes my stomach knot. And maybe it’s my overactive imagination making my hairs stand on end when he walks up behind me.
After all, these wicked little words we’re typing are only fiction. They’re only fiction…

Amy M's Review
I actually wasn't too thrilled about the book at first because it was slow going for me. Never did I suspect what was actually going on throughout the book and never did I see that ending coming EVER! I actually apologized to these amazing authors through my kindle thinking that it was slow going because when I finished the book I jumped up and screamed “WHAT THE HELL” out loud with my husband wondering what in the world was wrong with me. I quickly told him about the book and he was in awe along with me. I was pretty speechless after that point because of the crazy thoughts I was left with and putting everything together piece by piece. What a team Stevie and BT are to produce such a jaw dropping, gut wrenching book! I can't wait to see if they co-write again!

With this knowledge in place, know that I could NOT put this book down. To me, just knowing the main character in the book, Edwin, was a killer, made me pay more attention to his actions, his thoughts, and his behaviors. Meeting Miranda, as the novice co-author who gets to meet her hero, was fantastic. The development between the two characters built up to a heartpounding conclusion, one that twisted my mind! MIND BLOWN! Totally! I am still in an adrenaline stupor. I had my favorite books for the year in place, until I read this one; and it is now my favorite read for the year. This is not a romance, but a spinetingling, thrilling suspense; and it is beyond amazing.
5 Twisted Stars!
