Another billionaire romance just went free!
New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Jean Oram just put Love and Rumors, a 4.7 star rated contemporary romance, for FREE. This is the first book and her Summer Sisters series which features four sisters who are trying to save their historic family cottage in Muskoka, Canada.
The Summer Sisters series was inspired by Jean's own summers spent in Canada's cottage country, and the personal details she adds to the stories brings them to life.
The series has been described as Jean's best series yet and as books that will sweep you away--you won't be able to put them down!
Each book covers a different sister as she struggles to follow her dreams as well as her heart. The books center around the Summer's historic cottage which has been in the family since the early 1900s and is responsible for four generations of Summer women falling in love--including the four sisters, of course! While not all of the sisters believe in the power of Nymph Island, destiny still has some tricks up her sleeve for the sisters.
The Summer Sisters
Love and Rumors (Book 1)
One photographer who needs cash—fast. One movie star with an offer as tempting as his bad boy smile.
Love and Rumors follows Hailey Summer, the eldest sister. She is a nature photographer who figures she can snap a few paparazzi shots of Finian Alexander, a visiting movie star in order to cover the cottage's hefty tax bill. To her surprise, things get turned around on her and instead of her going paparazzi, she's the one who ends up in the tabloids as a woman of interest--with Finian!
One spitfire graduate. One sexy, burned out billionaire. One small island.
Love and Dreams is about Maya Summer who is a determined business grad. Her tycoon hero, Connor McKenzie, spends two weeks in her cottage as part of his don't-burn-out-and-die strategy. Maya is hired as his assistant and she figures her future as a businesswoman is in the bag. The only problem is that Connor wants nothing to do with business... and his attention is starting to turn to a more personal side.
One lawyer looking to stop a development. One ex-developer shunning his old way of life. Two worlds about to collide.
Love and Trust follows Melanie Summer, a lawyer who wants to stop the nasty development that is starting up across from the family's island cottage. However, Melanie needs the help of the reclusive billionaire Tristan Bell who is an ex-developer who is avoiding his old life at all costs. Too bad he can't seem to resist Melanie. Things are starting to heat up in Muskoka--and not just between the couples.
One hippie. One ex-military hero. Two very different life philosophies. And one situation that will alter the path of destiny.
Love and Danger is the final book and covers Daphne Summer, the youngest sister. She's a single mom who believes that everything will work out if given the chance. Too bad the bodyguard hired to protect her against the developers doesn't agree. Evander de la Fosse is a billionaire in disguise and ex-military man who believes that the only thing he is good for in life is to stop a bullet meant for someone else. Little does he know that Daphne and her daughter are going to weave their way into his heart and show him that he can still live life... as well as still fall in love.
About the Author, Muskoka, and How the Series Came to Be
This Summer Sisters series is set in Muskoka Canada which is a region where Jean Oram vacationed with her family as a child and an adult. In fact, the Summer's cottage, Trixie Hollow, was based on her grandmother's cottage which was built in 1900 and still remains in the family--it's been handed down for six generations. Many of the places and issues in the series are real and have been based on Jean's own experiences and love for Muskoka.
Note from Jean: I hope you enjoy falling in love with the sisters and their billionaire heroes in these sweep-you-away romances while getting to know this unique area of Canada. Here are a few photos from my personal album that helped inspire Trixie Hollow (the Summer's cottage):

The veranda--and the wicker furniture that features in The Summer Sisters! (The hammock is the one Connor naps in in Love and Dreams (book 2).)
Muskoka scenery. Lake Rosseau--near Baby Horseshoe Island (fictional island owned by the Summers).
