I am not sure I would call it a process. I get an idea. I see the problem and the end. Then I write. The characters take me where they want to. It’s funny because most of the time I will have an idea and when I am finished writing I realize that the character took the story in a completely different direction.
How important are names to you in your books?
Do you choose the names based on liking the way it sounds or the meaning? Do you have any name choosing resources you recommend?
I named the character in Fearing Love Jessica because I when I was little I wanted my name to be Jessica. The hardest part about names is the last name. I use a name generator online.
Favorite place to eat?
Anywhere they serve Pizza
If you were to get a permanent tattoo done, what would it be and where?
Already have one! It’s on my right shoulder blade. It is a butterfly. The wings are made with my daughter’s names Bailey and Destiny. My next one with be a simple script on the outside of my foot that says “live the dash”.
As a child, what did you wish to become when you grew up?
I wanted to work with children.
Describe your ideal romantic date.
Date hell I want a trip. I would love to go on trip that my husband planed and surprised me with.
Where? Anywhere as long as there is a big a bath tub in the room.
What is the first thing you notice about the opposite sex?
EYES! I love wicked crazy eyes. .
Who is your best friend?
Tell us about him/her. Amber! She is one of the most supportive, kind, and all out real people I know.
What's the naughtiest thing you have done in school?
Smoked in the parking lot (FYI I don’t smoke anymore).
What's the silliest thing you have heard people say about you?
That I am stuck up. I never knew being shy when you first met people came off that way, but I guess it does.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I would love to be able to look at people and know instantly who they are. Sorta like in the commercial.

What do you miss most about childhood?
Being able to take off on my Quad after my choruses with finished. Got to love have BLM as you back yard wonderland.
What was the first live concert you ever attended?
The very first concert was with my dad at the Oregon State Fair: REO Speed Wagon, Peter Frampton, and Foreigner. I love music so I try to go to at least two concerts a year. To date I have been to 13 different concerts, that I can think of off of the top of my head.
How many licks does it take to get to the middle of a tootsie pop?
It’s funny you should ask. It really depends on how you lick the lollipop and how much saliva my mouth secretes. The answer… You will never come up with the same results.
What is your middle name?
My middle name is uniquely spelled Ran’ee
Do you do dance crazy when no one is looking?
I dance crazy in my car! I know everyone can see me but it doesn’t matter. Once the music is turned on, it’s turned up and I become a rock star.
Do you scream on roller coasters? Do you lift up your hands? Screaming on a rollercoaster is a must. It is no fun if you don’t scream.
